Secretary’s Message

As the Secretary of the Mahayana Theravada Vajrayana Buddhist Trust, I am committed to serving all sections of society through the trust's activities, regardless of socioeconomic standing. The Trust firmly believes that a harmonious balance must always be maintained between our time-honoured traditional values and the realities of the modern world.

Founded upon the enduring principles of compassion, equality, discipline, and selfless service, the Trust continuously strives to carry these values forward for future generations. We remain dedicated to preserving the rich spiritual and moral legacy upon which this institution was established, while also contributing meaningfully towards nation-building, social service, charitable outreach, and the defense of ethical and humanitarian values that strengthen our society and our nation.

The Trust is already progressing steadfastly on its destined path of fulfilling its moral responsibilities and obligations towards humanity and the nation. We uphold the societal structure as paramount and strongly believe in the upliftment of fellow human beings through compassion, empathy, and collective responsibility.

Through our initiatives in education, healthcare, well-being, and social welfare, the Trust is tirelessly working to empower the underprivileged and marginalized sections of society by providing them with opportunities, support, and dignity.

As a firm believer in and follower of the teachings of Gautam Buddha, my sole focus is on alleviating the suffering of mankind through ethical living, discipline, wisdom, and dedication. Our motto is to ensure that every individual is able to live a life of dignity, with access to the basic conditions necessary to thrive, while being treated with fairness and respect.

The Trust has entrusted me with the fiduciary responsibility to act solely in the best interests of all stakeholders and beneficiaries. In essence, I solemnly assure that I shall discharge my duties with sincerity, integrity, and unwavering commitment, and will never shy away from my responsibilities.

Alone, I may never be able to achieve these goals, but through the collective wisdom, dedication, and support of our trustees, institutional partners, staff members, volunteers, and well-wishers, we shall continue making meaningful contributions towards humanity and the nation alike.

Our journey is an ongoing one and shall not cease until the last individual in need is reached and cared for in the most compassionate, inclusive, and unbiased manner possible.

I beckon you to join hands with us in every capacity possible — as a supporter, volunteer, enthusiast, or promoter — so that together we may share the collective responsibility of building an educated, healthy, compassionate, and strong society for our nation and generations to come.

Sincere regards, Dr. Krishna Murty
