The above-mentioned schools are providing secondary and higher secondary education to the poor villagers who cannot afford the fee of public schools. In addition the girls of villages are not able to go to distant schools because of the security reasons. These schools are a boon to girls' education. All schools are run on a charitable basis with a minimal fee. The huge recurring losses are borne by the Trust.
Normally in big institutions where the construction work continues for a long duration the laborers from Bihar, Oddisa, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh come with their families and stay in the campus. The children of these laborers roam as a vagabond and start going to the labour work as they grow. Realizing that the children of laborers also have the right to education, MTV Trust has started a school for the laborers which provides them absolutely free education and educates them up till 6th standard. On passing 6th standard they are transferred to other schools of Subharti. The education is free to them not only at Ishwar Chandra VidyaSagar Bal Shramik School but is free to them till their parents are working in the University/under the Trust.
